I have a documented ADHD diagnosis on file with Disability Services since fall 2023 with an approved accommodation of time-and-a-half on all examinations. On Dec 12, 2023 my accounting professor, Dr. Ainsley, refused to honor the accommodation for the final examination, stating that his course policy does not permit extra time regardless of Disability Services approval. I appealed to the department chair on Dec 13; the appeal was denied on Jan 5, 2024 in writing.
