Title IX - Riverside Unified School District - Received 2025-05-14 via Web form

Complaint narrative
Verbatim from the original submission.

My daughter plays on the Riverside High girls' softball team. For the past two seasons the district has provided the boys' baseball team a fully lit varsity field, batting cages, and priority practice slots between 3 and 6 pm, while the girls' team has been assigned an unlit auxiliary field and 6:30 to 8:30 pm practice windows. Requests to the athletic director, Mr. Handley, for equivalent facilities on Feb 3, 2025 and Mar 14, 2025 were denied without a substantive response. This pattern has continued despite prior written commitments from the district.
